Stitch Simply isn’t just for arthritis though. It’s simple and unique design which Knit Today Magazine reviewed as “Ingenious” means Stitch Simply can be used by anybody of any age, disability or not.
Wether you’re a retired knitter coming back, an experienced knitter needing rest for those aching joints or a young knitter learning Stitch Simply Knitting Aid can help you.
Since it’s invention by UK product designer David Hill as a way to help his arthritic Grandma to knit again in 2007 the Knitting Aid has fast become a favourite amongst occupational therapists, nursing homes and the knitting community alike.
The product was designed by David as the final major of his BA Product Design degree. The self titled and developed project “Arthritis and Self Esteem” was a project aimed at exploring unique ways to improve the self esteem of arthritic sufferers.
David came first in class and received a First Class Honours Degree, after winning several business start up and entrepreneur competitions David founded heartdesign Limited in 2008 as a way to distribute the Knitting Aid so that all knitters have the opportunity to continue doing what they love.
